Measles Case Visited Weber County Location

Weber-Morgan Health officials are encouraging continued vigilance to prevent the spread of measles in our communities. There are no cases in Weber or Morgan Counties as of 12/1/2025, but we have been notified that a confirmed case visited the Children’s Treehouse Museum in Ogden on Nov. 26 while they were possibly contagious.

If you visited the museum on Nov. 26 between the hours of 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., you may have been exposed to the measles virus and should watch for symptoms through December 17, 2025, and contact your local health department with any questions or concerns.

Symptoms include:

  • high fever
  • cough and runny nose
  • red eyes
  • a distinctive red rash that typically starts on the face and spreads downward.

Call ahead before you visit a healthcare facility

Measles is a highly contagious virus that can have severe complications, especially for children or certain populations. The best way to prevent getting measles is by getting vaccinated. Two doses of MMR vaccine is 97% effective against measles virus.
