WMHD public health nurses and Medical Reserve Corps are partnering with Weber County Animal Services and Best Friends Animal Society for a pets and people vaccination event that offers essential vaccines for both pets and people.
WHEN: Saturday, March 28, 2026, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
WHERE: Weber County Animal Services, 1373 Fairgrounds Drive, Ogden, UT
By participating in this event, we hope to raise awareness of the important role that getting your pets vaccinated plays in preventing the spread of rabies in our community. Since there isn’t a preventative rabies vaccine for humans, we are offering vaccines that help protect against tetanus, diptheria and pertussis (Tdap), measles, mumps and reubella (MMR), COVID and Influenza.
If you want to get vaccinated with your pet, please bring your insurance card, if you have one. If you are uninsured, please plan on talking with a nurse about low-cost options available.
